Had a wonderful time! The horses were calm and easy to ride for my oldest. They clearly take good care of their animals. Our guide was wonderful and ensured we had a good time. Would definitely recommend!

It was fun, but it was underwhelming. We didn’t care for the person who rode us around, she was rude and a bit argumentative. We didn’t like that when her horse was clearly hurt, she kept pushing him. And then our ride time was cut in half because the horse was hurt… It was kind of bland and boring, nothing to look at and the women just talked about herself the entire time not even caring what you had to say. It was like she had to keep trying to compete with anything you said, like as if you didn’t know anything about horses or anything. We couldn’t get a refund for the ride that was shorted that we paid for, they instead gave us free 30 minutes to use a next time while knowing we weren’t going to come back next time after this experience we had. I don’t like the way that women treated her horses at all.

It was with great pleasure to have the wonderful experience of a guided trail ride with my beloved during my visit first time to Indiana as well the first time my partner was on a horse with little experiences. Not only is the property and sights beautiful but the staff and facility is with great care and standards. Our trail guide was experienced, informative, friendly and a joy to talk to who both listened and answered while also instructing as needed such as to lean forth/back when going up/down. Amazing truly! The rates of services is easily seen on their website as well they take payments smoothly via card/credit. If ever in doubt, call to inquire. How I discovered this location was due to a short notice cancellation at another location; My partner and I only had only that thrusday together to look for an activity to do which led me to discover Crooked Creek Trail via google. I called to inquire only to learn they had 'by-the-hour' availability. It felt like a second chance for a great day as we got to have a two hour trail ride that *Same* day! Safety is important to them; you are assisted with mounting, dismounting and instructions on the basis to ride. The horses are well trained, seasoned experienced and has good manners! On that note; I would highly recommend this business that's like a family with each other working to provide a wonderful experience for their visitors, borders, clients and connections. Definitely will need to arrange more trips from riding to camping and see what seasonal events unfold as they operate year round with the safety of the horse in mind.
