My Mom called yesterday for a ride, her and her husband were waiting by her driveway this morning and the man looked right at them as they were about to cross the rd to get on, he just went on by, and my Mom called them to ask if someone would come get them and they hung up on her, I am mad at the way she was treated, she needed to see her dr today, she has been really sick.

I am looking for volunteer opportunities for my mom who lives in Houma. She drives and is very active but not sure what she can do with her time as she has too much of it. I am open to any opportunities for her to participate or to volunteer.
