My worker acted like the money they were offering for help would have come out her own pocket . After only 5 trips there my application was finally taken but not from the one who started my file but she must have mot liked me having to go to the social security office and had a supervisor tell her what she demanded of me was not the way they did things. She must have gotten mad cause another woman finished it for me n in a matter of mins. I was done. But I don't understand y the light company's don't accept their word or pledge to pay why is that

Last time I went in I was asked if I wanted a "Houma Handshake" in an office full of fast food. I thought it was kind of strange and it made me uncomfortable. Michel Claudet never treated me that way.

Difficult to navigate thru the red tape...I got transferred numerous times and each person I talked to told me something different, but in the end I did get help from a lady who was nice and handled business quickly. As with anything "government", you have to be extremely patient and calm and have plenty of time to spend. Word of advice: Call these people BEFORE going there in person because its a guarantee you will be short at least one item that they require and you will be making several trips. The helpful lady gets a 5 star, but the others brought the rating down. Also...DO NOT show any sign of frustration, that only encourages them to jam you up that much more.
