Try online since the office in Houma is close
Yes they are not serving the citizens like they should! You have to call and make a appointment. Of course, they blame it on the pandemic but in my most humble opinion that is a worn out excuse to serve less.
There not open there is a number on the door that u call and talk to them. But I was there for ss cards u have to fill out a form and mail it to the office
You can do that online
December 31
By mail or maybe in the office!
It depends on what you want to get out of the case!
You're going to be doing several appointments. Initially you need to bring your doctors opinions and records. So they can scan those in and get that in the record, and then you will have an appointment scheduled for sometime in the future on a Saturday. And you would be well-advised to get her a mySSA account online. Also you can apply for Medicare and Medicaid online
If you need an upgrade or up rate in your percentage get your medical records that show that you have had a change in your medical history. Then get with your worker
Probably come in about the end of the month... they generally say 90 days b4
Swing on by the office and check with them. It takes a bit of time, but usually not 3 months.
I think you can do that via their website, if you prefer not to go in the office.
I would go to office. Go with your DL. Current ss card. And original marriage license/ or document to why the name change. Also go around 3:00/3:30 not that long of wait. They close at 12:00 on Wednesdays.
They may depending on age etc ...is she his dependant?...Yes then likely so.
No, I can't give you any information on this, and I have no idea, but it wouldn't surprise me. Call your local field office. Good luck
Free just bring ID and completed Marriage license
You need to check with a counselor but yes there might be a deduction in the amount of benefits to reach the cap. I believe the cap is somewhere around 22 or 2300 dollars.
If you have your divorce papers to prove name change, it should be free social security office.
Call the office directly. Don't put this stuff out publicly you'll attract scammers
You will have to show up with your documentation
Get online and set up an account @ mysocialsecurity.gov... you can start the process there.
Surviving Spouses • If your spouse passes away, you can collect survivor's benefits as early as age 60. You are eligible to receive benefits based on his or her full Social Security benefit amount (but note that that amount will still be reduced if you claim the benefits before your own full retirement age.) • If your ex-spouse is deceased and you remarry before age 60 (or 50 if you are disabled), you cannot receive survivor's benefits unless the latter marriage ends (whether it be through death, divorce, or annulment). If you remarry after age 60, you can continue to receive benefits on your former spouse's Social Security record. However, if your current husband is also a Social Security beneficiary and you would receive a larger benefit from your second spouse's work record than you would from your deceased spouse's record, you should apply for spousal benefits on your current spouse's record. You cannot receive both benefits. • Regardless of your age or marital status, if you a

Her shot records and you have to call them my grandbaby just recieved his at 6mth but you need to call them first to see or go up there to the social security office
You can make an appointment! But you still might sit some!!!
If he is disabled and your enough maybe! They will almost always deny you unless you have proof for doctor's and all the paperwork to go with it!!
Depends on the day of your birth, 1-7 are on first wed off the month, 8-15 are on the second Wednesday, 16-23, on the third Wednesday, and 24-31 on the fourth Wednesday. This applies to SSDI, so if you have something different may be different payment schedule
Not entirely sure about the question, I understood you applied for something back in August of this year. Wife's SSI case took years, as did my SSDI. So hopefully it isn't either of those
You just have to have your state issued i.d and go to your local Social security office and request one ..it will come to you by mail..its also free
You should call them it shouldn't take a month
