These guys are the best! After discussing the e-bikes in their rental fleet, I purchased a Rad online and had it shipped to RMA for assembly. While Rad’s are not sold through dealers and RMA is not, it was properly assembled with great care and professionalism. One part was damaged during shipment and they installed it at no charge when the replacement arrived. The entire crew is knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating.

The views and brews ebike tour was so fun! I’d highly recommend it both to visitors and locals. I was really impressed with how organized everything was. Safety was a priority. Even as a local, I got to see a side of Roanoke i’d never explored before. The brewery stops were great. Thank you for a fun time!

Staff was extremely unfriendly. They watched us walk in and never even greeted us or said anything when we left. There were only 2 other individuals in there and us, they were not busy with a huge group. I’m sure we looked a bit out of place, but we just moved to the area from the Midwest. We were looking to purchase 3 bikes (trying to shop local) and get information about their activities. Apparently stay away if you look like your from out of town. So disappointed.

This Business is a full sales and service bike shop, that offers rentals and shuttle services as well. They offer kayak and tubing adventures on the Roanoke River. Even though I have no reviews to offer on that part of the business. I can tell you my wife and I love to browse the used outdoor equipment and clothing. I have made a few purchases and I am well pleased The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I love to visit this store when I'm in the Roanoke area. I have attached a photo of a used North Face jacket that I purchased for my wife. This jacket was gently used and bought for a fraction of what a new one would cost.

Hunter - good question! River conditions are always changing, so it is best to (a) check in with us just before departing and (b) make sure you are always vigilant while on the river. At the moment, there is only one partial obstruction that we have identified between Rotary Park and our shop, which is the portion of river that most of our kayak renters run. We can provide further details. It is up-river of our usual tube put-ins of Bridge St and Memorial Bridge. Generally, the stretch of river from Rotary to Wasena has class I/II rapids. Some are trickier than others depending upon water levels, so you should always be vigilant but there is no particular section that stands out from the others as especially dangerous or challenging.
RMA takes the health and safety of its employees and customers seriously. Employees all wear masks and the business requires masks upon entry.
