We are big fans of Roanoke in general and Ken & Linda in particular. I stayed in their 22nd Street property 15 years ago when we moved to Roanoke, and found it a perfect little home away from home in a delightful neighborhood. This gave us freedom to house-hunt carefully and enjoyably. When we recently sold our home in 2017 to downsize, our first thought was to contact the Cumins. They were wonderfully accommodating of our needs this time as well, so we stayed in one of their well-appointed Stanley Street apartments. The living here is so darned easy that I almost hated to move into our new place! This is a high quality product well worth the money. I don't mind spending money if I feel I've gotten a valuable service, and I think Ken & Linda have hit the perfect balance in terms of price and product. I found that there are 'econo' extended stay facilities with nothing like the comfort, convenience and security of these units. Our realtor suggested several other short-term rentals, but we knew to call the Cumins first. I would recommend their service to anyone looking for a great interim home.
