My experience here was excellent. I had planned to just rehab at home using the exercise sheets my surgeon had provided but then I was afraid I’d miss something important. I was evaluated and given just a few exercises that were new to me. I went in once a week for a progress check and I was done in three weeks. Perfect!

After experiencing night time knee pain for over a year, I went to see Dr Nora at Seneca Physical Therapy. She gave me an examination which included strength of both sides, movement, and any tender areas. Although I have no back pain she discovered a very sensitive spot on my lower back. A lower back massage and three twice a day exercises to do at home was the correct medicine. Dr Nora is a person of high integrity, cheerful heart and high intelligence. Thank you Dr Nora!

Your first session with your physical therapist is called an initial evaluation. During this session, your physical therapist will spend time with you to learn about your condition, your previous level of function, and how your condition is affecting your life. They will then take specific measurements of the impairments that may be causing your problem and put together a treatment plan for you. You will be given clear answers about your problem and a handout for any exercises you have been instructed to do at home.
