My sister resides at the Lancaster Rehab and nursing Center. Her medical care is fairly good but the food is absolutely awlful.Never gets the items listed on the menu and what is served is terrible. If served any meat it is always like shoe leather and never has any seasoning.She receives a salad which consists of lettuce only and never includes dressing. Often the food is very spicy or has no taste at all .The only menu that is decent is breakfast but then what can go wrong with eggs other than no toast or butter .Have reported this to Office of the Aging.Board of Health and even the two Congressmen in that area and nothing has changed.How hard is it to cook a meat and potatoes and vegetable plus dessert for your residents . A "home cooked meal " would taste real good everyday. Does ur kitchen need a cook that knows something about cooking food? Does not sound like u have one .Maybe u better hire one

Giving one star is way to much. The staff is more worried about having a conversation with each other instead of tending to the patients. When they do go in the room they say that they will be back and you wont see them again. You smell the urine as soon as you get off of the elevator. The food is unrecognizable, usually served cold. The transportation company that they use is guaranteed to make you late to your appointment or miss it completely. Bed side manner is unprofessional. Patient was told that they weren't the only one, they had other patients they needed to tend to. The patient waited 1.5 hours just to get a cup of water. Patient had to ask repeatedly to get washed and teeth brushed. Requests fall on death ears. No one ever accepts accountability. I have more but I'm going to stop there. If you really love your family member you would not allow them to go to that facility. The name may have changed but it's still the same Conestoga View.

The care my mother is receiving is unbelievable! We transferred her from Susquehanna Nursing and rehab because she was not getting care, showers and her room flooded every time it rained. Since she's been at Lancaster Nursing and rehab I feel like she couldn't get better care anywhere else. I am so grateful! Especially because I know like everywhere now there are staffing shortages. But she is finally being blessed!!

Terrible food,dirty rooms,not friendly staff, is going downhill since new owner. Husband jot happy here at all.
