I have been trying to contact this location to sign up as a new patient for months via phone and their portal with no answer from them. It's very strange because someone on a forum really recommended you as our medical cases are similar and I have had no luck for years with other doctors. It's a shame.

Dr. Oniel was one of the first and hands down best providers I had ever seen. Unfortunately her old location at the time was too far for me to travel to. When I heard she started a new practice I was already seeing another provider. Unfortunately they could find anything to help relieve my symptoms. Long story short I found myself being referred back to Dr. O’Neil which I was VERY excited about!!! Sadly however, it was short lived excitement. It has become a very frustrating experience. My doctors office spoke to a nurse explaining the urgent need for me to be seen due to my declining health issues related to my RA/Lupus. She was promised I would receive a call in about 3 to 5 business days to be registered and given an appointment. Sadly, that never happened. I called myself spoke to a receptionist who refused to set me up with an account regardless of my being told I was able to be seen. She informed me of the almost 6 month waiting list and that when it was my turn someone would call. Once again I explained my situation but she did not seem to care. It has now exceeded 6 months! I have called over 5 times left messages with no return call, recently left a voicemail for a manager (which you will ALWAYS be sent to should you ask to speak with her/him)! No response. My doctor had called the office around 10 times left messages and no response. I am saddened by the way things have gone and now have no other options. I understand having a busy practice and a lack of rheumatologist in the WNY area however, when you agree to help someone and then fail to follow through KNOWING the patient is suffering that is not good practice. I have worked In the medical field myself for over 12 years and have NEVER experienced an office that runs they way her practice does. I never write reviews, never complain unless it’s something I feel needs to be shared. I cannot help but let others know that even though she is an amazing doctor her staff is failing her at every level possible! Good luck to all who are lucky enough to speak to an actual human being ( meaning someone who will care about your medical issues) and not just someone monitoring a waitlist.
