Very beautiful ride from the trailhead to fish lake. No open water source to be found along the 5.5 miles from trail head to Fish Lake. The trail was very flat, the asphalt was in a good condition making for a very easy bike ride.

We had a beautiful fall walk. We went 2.5 miles out and then back. The trail is paved and level. (People, please pick up after your dogs!) A very pleasant walk.

We drove to Cheney trailhead and rode 7 miles roundtrip on paved path that's just lovely. There is a picnic area off trail a bit by the lake. It's a hope for the future to get bike trail extended from Government Way and Sunset Blvd trail head to go all the way through to the actual lake since its Fish Lake trail.

It was a very nice, quiet, clean trail. Beautiful view of the lake. :)

Are dogs allowed off leash?

Not at any WA State Parks. There's enough long straight sections to get away with as you have enough time to see anyone coming and put the leash back on.
