I did the biking trail only. 3.7 miles on the paved only.

Beautiful and peaceful... A great place to take a stroll.

The trail is very well maintained- although the pine needles can be a bit heavy in some places and watch for rocks. The people are generally friendly or at least courteous. As far as this end goes with the lake it is good for kayaking and appeared to be a small and tranquil lake for swimming and such. I saw a moose as well while kayaking- very cool but also something to be vigilant of. Edit: there’s a whole family of moose

This is a really nice section of the Columbia Plateau Trail. It is paved! I once pushed my first grandchild in a stroller along it. Going to Cheney you pass by picturesque Fish Lake and then enter a narrow cut in the basalt they made for the original railroad. I have also seen eagles on this section.

The signs only say "no gas powered motors" so I don't see a problem.
