This is a very nice , balanced Japanese garden. Plenty of shade mixed with sun. The garden is well maintained.

Awesome tiny Japanese garden with plenty of cool places to check out koi fish. Located right in the middle of campus this is a small garden that may take 10 mins tops to see everything. There are rare trees located around the garden with 2 bridges attaching the different ponds. Parking is about a 5 min walk

I don't recall seeing any signs regarding dogs, but the garden is right in the middle CalPoly campus so I imagine campus rules about dogs would apply, the office should be able to answer this for ya over the phone.
