I was in the Caswell house in October 2021. I was very disappointed in every way. I was paying $1,100+ per month for a twin size bed in a shared room. My mattress was soiled all over, there was a 1/4 inch thick layer of dust caked on to the ceiling fan (I cleaned it myself), and the floor was carpet and had stains all over! I couldnt walk without socks or shoes because the carpet felt so nasty. The kitchen stunk like a sewer and had mice or rats chewing holes through the cabinets! A girl who ended up being house manager by the time I left, recorded video on her phone of this happening! And the 'maid service' is one woman who shows up once a month to clean the bathrooms and kitchen. We had to do chores every day and deep clean every Thursday night. The house meetings were a joke and barely qualified as a meeting at all. The health club membership was good, but a bit of a drive. Also when signing up the first time at the gym, the front desk was snotty and referred to us as 'the house'. We didn't receive any key fobs like the other members. During my time in the house, there was a girl who tested positive for oxycodone, failing a total of four tests in one day and only passing the test she bought herself! I stayed out one night after relapsing and was kicked out on the spot without sobering up to drive. I was not okay to drive down the street, much less the two hours home. They won't refund my money for the days I paid for.

To all the staff who truly cared for my son David you are really sweet and supportive people. It's a special place. I recommend, Bridgeway to anyone that is making that choice to get their life together. The houses are located in a magical beautiful place in Austin, TX. I appreciate everyone that helped my son.

Bridgeway houses here are really nice and peaceful with great locations. The staff here is great because they live life and they walk the walk when it comes to recovery. My sister went here because of a friend's referral and she is now clean.

House I stayed in 2 years ago was roughly $1,000 per month with all amenities including YMCA membership. I was in a loft above the garage with 4 of us up there with 2 beds twin and 2 beds queen. Worked out great. Stayed 5 or 6 months
Please call the bridgeway sober living main line and we will answer all and any questions you have. Thanks.
Bridgeway Sober Living is an innovative approach to long-term recovery. We believe that people who become sober need more than just sobriety.
Sober living is the act of abstaining from drugs or alcohol, even if only temporarily. Bridgeway Sober Living provides an alternative choice for those who find rehabilitation to be an unnecessary option. Many people use this service as a way to tap into personal strengths that they may not know were there before, and it's also one of the most effective ways to maintain sobriety following detox.
Probably. It's always a good idea to ask the HR representative or your physician. With Bridgeway Sober Living, you may not only be tested for drugs but also alcohol and nicotine because as we know those are what lead to drug usage in addiction treatment cases.
Bridgeway specializes in outpatient and sober living services for men, women, graduate students and couples.
To determine how long one can stay, we need to first take into account the type of program .
If someone is in poor mental health and/or not able to care for themselves, then they may be recommended to seek professional help. For those with a dependency on substances such as opioids, alcohol or stimulants, the individual would need treatment before they can regain their independence and become productive members of society. Bridgeway offers holistic addiction rehabilitation services.
Yes, and it's very important for rebuilding after addiction that you have the time to do things like eat right and sleep well. You will want to focus on your diet and protein intake while rebuilding muscle from lack of exercise. Blackout periods can be days or weeks long depending on your situation but if you're having trouble when coming up from a blackout period, it might just take a little bit more time in order to get back into a good routine.
In that Bridgeway Sober Living Group Houses are staffed with around-the-clock supervision, it is not necessary to have a specific team of "treatment staff" on site. That said, we certainly understand the need for medical and rehabilitation services in facility settings, hence the existence of our sister company, Bridgeway Sober Living.
Yes, they do. Bridgeway Sober Living offers a full-time, in-house treatment team that specializes in dual diagnosis and co-occurring disorders. Addiction is the most common co-occurring disorder shared by those seeking long term recovery from alcohol or chemical dependence; it can also be treated as an illness on its own merit.
It's important to understand that addiction is not the same as alcoholism. Addiction can be caused by anything that causes pleasure, disappears when usage stops, and has no medical benefits. When health problems or impairment in day-to-day functioning start to occur and there are no significant benefits from using, chances are good that the addiction is uncontrolled.
Bridgeway Sober Living are professionals at home, working with you to make sure everyone is happy. And Omega Sober Living offer two services to fulfill that mission and purpose. As part of the detox process, they provide care for the neighbors in your community as well as employment opportunities for anyone interested in being a mentor or construction partner.
The Bridgeway Sober Living Recovery program does work well for addicts. However, there is no one-size-fits-all recovery program that can be applied for every addict or alcohol dependent person.
Yes. There are two major dimensions of mental health that are negatively impacted by stress: anxiety and depression. Bridgeway Sober Living is proud to say we have an affordable drug addiction treatment program that doesn't only includes abstinence from drugs, but also addresses the factors which affect mental wellness like chronic stress, substance abuse, addiction therapy and psychiatric care.
Bridgeway Sober Living offers a continuum of care, which includes detoxification and treatment for substance use disorders in multiple settings including residential programs, intensive outpatient programs, paraprofessional monitoring units, chemical dependency clinics and community-based outreach projects.
Bridgeway Sober Living is a drug rehabilitation center equipped with a holistic approach to healing that includes medically assisted detoxification, psychiatric evaluations and therapies, Christian counseling, therapeutic recreational programs such as yoga and art therapy.
Bridgeway Sober Living provides a variety of inpatient and outpatient programs. We believe that addiction is a chronic disease, with treatment needing to be continued well after the initial program has been attended. We provide our patients with aftercare programs such as sober socials, relapse prevention coursework, additional therapy sessions, individual and group recovery support therapy.
Yes, we do have a women's only sober living home. Please, give us a call to learn more.
