I phoned weeks before my trip and reserved a pull-thru site. I was a bit skeptical when the woman on the phone told me that check in time was anytime and check out was anytime before dark. She also did not require anything to hold my reservation. It was around 5:30pm when we stopped here on our way home, exhausted after a 500 mile drive, to find that there was no pull thru site available. She said it was because no one had left. She put us in the only hookup left, a back-in site that looked like a site that never got used. When we went to hook up the electric the inside of the lid had a huge wasp nest. We were finally able to hook up the electric after we were able to destroy the wasp nest while risking getting stung. Later while walking through the small campground to dispose of our a trash we noted that many of the campers looked like they might possibly resided there. I can't in good faith recommend this campground to anyone. There is absolutely no guarantee that you will get the spot you think you have reserved. If no ones leaves you're just out of luck and it may be a very long drive to the next rv park. We will definitely not be staying here again. I would not have given this even one star if it hadn't been required.

We have stayed here two times: once in a cabin and once in our family camper. It is a fantastic place to get away; very quiet, laid back, easy to get, small playground for kids and great fishing! The cabin was clean and simple. Had a fantastic view of the lake. The camper spots had all of the hook ups and backed up to an open field. Our only wish was that the camper spots were paved.

This lake is absolutely awesome!!! I had no idea that this RV park was going to be like this, I mean literally it's the most easy-going RV park on a lake that you can possibly go to for a beautiful scenery, wildlife, fishing, some country life, cleanliness, everybody's very respectable, and the property is very manicured and groomed. Gotta go stay there if you havent yet.
