It's a big parking lot. If you don't expect much and it's just a place to stop for the night, then it's OK. They got all the amenities but the place is old, no trees, just rows of RV's.

I held a truck camper rally here at this location in June for 5 days. Linda made the whole process for dealing with the resort a simple and pleasurable experience. After hosting around 20 rallies throughout the northwest, this experience was the best I have ever had when dealing with the resort for a group. The clubhouse was perfect and easily handled our 60 or so rally attendees. Fellow wagon Masters...if you are looking for a place to host your rally, consider this location and talk to Linda. Thank you for helping to make our rally a success.

I loved there for for about maybe four months give or take. But they didn't tell me it was seasonal until the very very last minute and I had about a few weeks to find a spot with no one to help me pull my trailer. Little old lady that runs the office and a very very rude alcoholic who threatened my wife and and started to try and tell me how to live my life and told me I'm a pathetic father. I do not ever recommend this place ever if can avoid this place I suggest doing so.

My wife and I recently rented one of their cabins during our vacation. It was a charming, rustic cabin in which to spend a night while exploring the NW corner of Oregon. This is primarily an RV park with several tent sites and 3 cabins. We are an older couple and valued the peace, quiet and tranquility of the park. Nothing loud or obnoxious like you can get in a state park. Our cabin (can't speak on the others) had electricity for lights, outlets and included a space heater and a portable fan. There was a twin bunk bed and a queen bed. There is no indoor plumbing in the cabin but there is a faucet outside as well as a fire pit. Clean restrooms with showers are located up near the office. During a walk through the park it was evident that several of the RVs were of long term residents as well as several open spaces for those passing through. If we find ourselves needing lodging in the Hammond / Astoria / Fort Stevens area again, Kampers West Kampground will be at the top of our list of places to stay. The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending places to go and see as well as local places to eat.
