Help me understand ? why are these agencies open if they are not serving the communities. When you call you are sent to a voice mail system. which says you'll be called back at any given time within 2 days. now for those of us that work often times we are back on the job when they call and cant pick up. so now you call back just to be sent to the phone line gain to be told you have to wait another 2 days for another call. how is this fair? or you are sent a letter with a phone interview time and date that a social worker will be contacting you to complete paperwork and no one calls or keeps you informed of any delays. then when you call back to the board of social services you are then sent to the a recorded line to leave a message with a 2 day waiting period again. if you go into the local offices which is usually empty now your waiting for hours to be seen by a worker. what's seriously going on here? while we all want to take precautions due to the pandemic crisis. Its also only fair that clients receive courteous, punctual and fair treatment as well. our time is valuable too. I would like to see an improvement of quality service at this location and supervisors available to assist when unfairness occurs. Not being told their are no superiors available to assist.

You probably don't get stamps
You can go on NjHelps.org and apply for everything. They'll let you know what you're eligible for, and an estimate on how much you can receive monthly. I think its a med 1 or med 5 form for your father's doctor to fill out and fax back to them in order for you to get paid for his care.
You have to call the state insurance on the card they gave you and just tell them who you want to switch to
The best time to go is early morning or around 3 in the afternoon
You must be income eligible for medicaid. If you are already on medicaid, just call the office and ask for the phone number to reach for dollar a day insurance or if you come in ask at the desk they have the phone number
You can apply online at NJHELPS.GOV then you will be contacted . If applying for foodstamps , you will be set up for a phone interview time and then be mailed a checklist of items to return to process your application. If applying for cash assistance, you will be set up for an in person interview. If you apply online for medicaid, your application will be processed by state of nj. If you go to the window and pick up an application and return it to the office, you will receive checklist to process in the mail

Your best Avenue is to go to their web site and apply on line. After their review, they will notify you with an appointment to complete the application process and what documents you need to bring.
