Campground was clean. Not too many trees so if you want plenty of shade I would recommend bringing a canopy. There are Campground host on site. You can make a reservation for campsite online or there are some sites avaliable for first come first serve as well. River nearby with a small "sandy beach". River water was super cold. The hot spring water temperature is not consistent near the river.

This place needs reservations, because it is so cool. The coolest thing is their hot springs which come down in waterfalls. We take our dogs everywhere, but the signs say no dogs on trails. When the host asked us if we had gone that way, we were surprised by the question, we respect camp rules. Then they said dogs just are not allowed in the hot springs, because dogs die fast in hot springs. It has to do with their feet. They cool off through their feet, and they overheat and die really fast. We were careful to not let the dogs walk thru them. The water was really hot.

Nice area, plenty space between camp sites. Bathrooms pretty clean, picnic table and metal fire pit (you can have a fire in this particular camping area). Best part the little pools of the hot springs, right next to the river. Only 10 minutes walk from our camp.

The campground is actually closed as of April 9th 2021 I'm hoping they'll reopen it soon it looks like it's just closed because of fallen trees. People were still parking at the gate and walking a little extra to use the springs for the day. It's about 3/4 mile from the gate at the top of the hill to the actual hot springs. There are six or seven pools varying in size and temperature most of them are not very deep at all, But they provide a great view and an awesome soaking experience. If the campground is open it is $5 for day use and I believe 15 at night to camp. Dogs are allowed on leashes in campsites but not at Hot springs. If you do decide to go this time of year and walk it is a good idea to bring toilet paper The bathrooms are open but they do not have any in them. ❤️ Have fun

I agree with the answers. It's popular and its already mid-June. 50/50 chance you'll get a weekday spot. Not a good chance you'll get a weekend spot w/o a reservation.
There are no RV hook ups. It is dry camping. They do have hand water pumps and vault toilets. The fee is $15 per night $5 day use.
Trout fishing is fine.
