Two great side by side 18 hole disc golf courses. Can not recommend one over the other. Though the green course is a little longer and more difficult. If you enjoy a beautiful wooded course then either or both are for you

I really enjoyed this course. The layout can accommodate novice and advance alike. Keep in mind when going here, this is a pay to play course and if you don't have a metro parks pass it will be a pay to enter Park too. However, it's well worth the couple bucks donated to keep the course nice and keep a great Park up and running.

I'm not going to put a lengthy review because you can go on to a bunch of websites that are specific to reviewing disc golf courses. Black Locust consists of two 18-hole disc golf courses. The course is one of the highest rated in the state and for the average disc golfer it's easy to see why. The courses are both fairly well managed in terms of trash, overall course conditions, and so on. For years people have called for them to build a permanent restroom facility near the course entrance. For the time being there are a porta potties on premise. During summer season you can walk across the street or drive and use one of two facilities. When you arrive be sure to pay at the shack then decide if you want to play North or South (Green or Blue). As far as the actual courses go, green/south is much more difficult and consist of a lot of very technical shots. North is the old front 18, and is somewhat easier. Leagues play here on Sundays and occasionally other days.

$3 cost per round. Open 8am to 10pm! Beautiful woody course. Moderate to difficult. I only played the first 18 but it’s a 27 hole course.

On the course on a leash. Not allowed on beaches or trails.
Correct. The entrance is within the park, so you'll need a metro pass
