Some things absolutely need to be brought there such as TV's & other electronics. Also paint cans & large plastic items such as child's play houses. These items will not be picked up curbside. You can also bring tree trimmings, leaves, grass, wood, furniture, toilets, & any extra household trash. Limit of 2 visits per month. No contractor loads allowed. Call 732-255-1000 for more info.

You are limited to two trips per car/driver's license per month to the Tom's River Recycling on Church Road. So if you can take the couches on your car in two trips... OR you can put them at the curb and call 732-255-1000 ext. 8604 for a pick up (may take a week). You can also do that with the plastic chairs or take them to Ocean County Recycling on New Hampshire Ave in Lakewood or 379 Haywood in Manahawkin. There is a Ocean County recycle app for your phone. Download it and click on the 3 lines top left then on "What goes where?" and type the item name into the search box.
