you can tell there are some shady people at the park. facilities are well kept, so kudos for that. MTB trail is fun, and you can see someone has put some time in to that 👍

Finch Park has really stepped up their game!! We had a beautiful time with the kids. We didn't feel as if we had to keep them chained to us. They were able to run and play pretty freely. #Update # Finch Park is still doing good 👍🏽 they have a new piece of play equal for the kids of course..now I don't know if it was the piece that was wrapped up for a while but it really seems safe..do however monitor my children more whenever they are playing on it.

Love this place. Wish they had more to do for younger kids but very fun and spacious!

Work party there we had 6 employees cars broken into and other visitors pocket books, money, keys, medicine, damage to cars and we were not even warned that this is going on all the time from the park staff. But after $1,000 of dollars of our stuff is gone or damaged then men keeping the park up talked to the police saying it happens there every week but they didn't inform our company it was a bad area. So if you go, go at your own risk.

Absolutely! We have a small pier that can be fished off of, and a trail that surrounds the entire pond where you can do bank fishing.
Check out all pricing and availability for shelters at registration.lexingtonnc.gov. Shelters can be rented in 3 hour time blocks, or also in 1/2 or full day blocks.
There is a trail that goes around the pond. You probably have to go around it a few times to hit a mile. It's great for a work out walk or casual walk. It has inclines and declines. I do advise to wear bug repellant. Mosquitos are bad when it gets warm because of the pond. You can ride a bike through it. I've seen several people ride bikes on it.
Good luck! There are plenty of bream and bass! But they're fed so much! Pain to catch!
Hello, yes you can pay for your shelter here... it is safe and I have booked partys here myself https://www.lexingtonnc.gov/city-services/parks-and-recreation/parks-and-facilities/shelter-field-and-facility-reservations
Yes ma’am it will be!
Yes they are, as long as there is no programming scheduled on the fields, and they aren’t wet! If they are locked up, talk to the park ranger, they can open them for you.
The park is open from 8am until dusk, which changes throughout the year, so it closes much earlier in winter with the time change, and much later in the summer with the longer days.
The fish have to be over a certain length.
