My husband and I were driving through town and had to find a place to eat. We saw good reviews of the Roanoke Village Inn and decided to stop here for dinner. The facility was a bit too bar-saloon like for our taste, but the staff was very accommodating and tried to get us a seat on the patio and even though they were strapped with customers, the crew went out of their way for us to have a Great last minute dinner!👍 Steak was excellent. Overall good food and service rating!

We have been going there for about 6 mos now. Never a issue till this past Saturday. We had invited some friends to go too. We was served beverages first and right away. There was 2 other tables there with customers. Then the other tables started filling up. We had to wait an hour to order food and another 35 mins to get it. All the while all the other tables were served food and ours never came till we thru a fit. The hamburgers were served medium well and had blood coming from them. The waitress said shec could ask for new ones but the entire place cleared out and gone and we just got our food. No where on menu does it say you have to have a burger requested to be done before serving. No warnings on menu either for the public to know the risks of undercooked meat. The regular waitress not there and you could tell. . We were embarressed and wont be back. The waitress forgot to take off the food and fries our guests sent back uneaten. Off the bill although she said she did. A complete joke. We had always enjoyed the food and the help but won't risk that again. I typically would give another chanceand never ever had such rotten service in all my years as a customer. Good bye Village Inn. an issue

Friendly service and delicious drinks. Unfortunately food quality has gone down over the years. Most often over cooked or arrives cold. Great place for drinks though!

Hadn't been there in years and was even better than I remembered! Prime rib was perfect. Side dishes were generous, enough to share. Could tell the servers were a bit overwhelmed, but they were rockin' and serving with a smile. Won't be long before we go back!
