Very nice gem of a beach. I love all the signage and cute things around the grounds. Place is clean - great place for young children, not expensive and very close to my home. Beach is clean, bathrooms, changing rooms, snack shack. They do a very good job there. This is my go to beach after 10 years of not going to the beach. Great beach and I wish I could go every day.

(Review Update) Upon our most recent visit, I can definitely say the prior bad experience was a random one time issue. The owners remembered us from the prior season and were extremely friendly from the second we arrived. The review did get brought up, but there were no hard feelings towards either party. I knew it wasn't their fault and CMBC really makes a great effort making sure their patrons enjoy the time they spend while visiting. My faith has been restored and will continue to enjoy this hidden gem. Usually this place is great, especially for my two year old son, but today is absolutely ridiculous. My family and a few other families are constantly having to walk around and get our toys back. I understand kids play and kids share, but you don't just take and you make sure to put stuff back when finished. Several people have already left and we're contemplating leaving ourselves. Hopefully this is just random, but no way in hell will I keep my composure if this were to happen again. I do want to emphasize the bad experience had nothing to do with management/ownership, but the result of a group/party with a large amount of kids and not nearly enough parental supervision.

Yes there is parking but it does get busy so get there early
Yes on the kayaks no to cannons
They do have electric and water hook ups. Bathroom wasn't to bad and yes you can fish
Yes it is a nice place for children . There is an area for games . Volley ball . Horse shoes . Jinga . You can also feed the resident ducks . Floating devices are allowed . No lifeguards, you enter at your own risk . I have been coming here for 40 years and not once have I seen any major accidents. Always have had family get togethers there .
Well, the beach goes up to the grass and then there is the road that goes through the campground and neighborhood beyond that so it's basically all flat. So as long as the wheelchair can go through sand, access shouldn't be an issue as well as the flat area for walking with a cane. The parking is just behind all this and there are some picnic tables and a pavilion and single tables up closer to the water at the beach. It's only about 50, maybe 75 feet to the water from parking.
Call them
They have seasonal sites! Not sure of the prices go on their Facebook send a message Kim answers pretty quick
There is a place to buy food and a little shack right inside the gate to buy parking passes. That's about it. They aren't really parking passes it's more like and entrance fee, which if I'm not mistaken is somewhere around 5 or 6 bucks per person. They have rest rooms and changing rooms no showers though. You can grill there as well.
You cannot pull a trailer on this campground unless you have a lease. They do not take reservations but you can visit for the day
9:00 am to 5:00 pm
