Drove 45 mins to pick up equipment that was supposed to be ready and they are closed at 5:55. Sign in the window and call center said they are open until 7. Previous experiences with them have also been terrible. I would rather go to the DMV or the dentist than deal with Xfinity

The low rating is for the terrible internet service that Comcast provides. W have had Comcast for about 3 years and have scaled back our service with them to only high-speed internet. Quite frankly their prices are ridiculous and we’ve found better quality and service via streaming services. Remarkably though, ever since we scaled back our cable subscription with Comcast to just internet, our actual service has been horrible. We made the change about 6 months ago and we are now going on our 3rd router. I mean that seems to be the only solution Comcast can implement to fix my intermittent, slow, and some times non-existent internet service. What I find truly astounding is how no one else in the neighborhood seems to have the problems we are having. Currently searching for an alternative solution but amazingly Verizon isn’t allowed in our territory. Must be the Communists at Communistcast rigging the system. Man I hate that company.

Save your time and sanity and go to the Mount Pleasant store. You'll go round and round in circles trying to explain your situation only for your entire account to be messed up. I've taken 4 trips to that store just this week trying to get wifi and cable setup at my house only for them to give me faulty equipment or fail to add the correct equipment to my account.

I picked up a new master control box from Margaret S. The new device had a defect and would not allow any changes for volume. Went back today and MARGARET S. remembered me and replaced the control box for me. Margaret S is very helpful, knowledgeable and has great people skills.
