If I could rate this facility a negative 10 I would. The staff was incompetent, rude. The facility was dirty, disorganized and disgusting! DO NOT GO HERE I know people are having a hard time finding good help, but this is scrapping the bottom!

Worst experience ever. I have to say the animals were sweet, however, the staff had the worst social skills ever. They were rude, condescending, sarcastic and myopic. One worker yelling at the other 3 times. Their Director was worthless and incompetent, no help at all. She did not want to hear a complaint she said the other worker could come to her if it was a problem. Again horrible, horrible staff. STAY AWAY and save yourself a trip

Im not sure how i got this question sent to me but God works in mysterious ways..🙏 i took in a stray female nov 2nd..by the 4th she had 9 beautiful puppies.. Reds w/green eyes. A solid blue with blue eyes. Mango colored w golden eyes. Solid black pups with the most precious eyes. They are gorgeous. And im so afraid to just hand them out to folks who may neglect or mistreat them. Id love to find true loving homes for them! If ur interested you can message me back here and we can go from there. Melissa, that is Animal Control, you just need to go adopt it if you want that dog. Delray Judy, they still have some dogs, their $50! Michelle Wilson, their remodeling and preparing to reopen once inspected again, because their the only shelter in Burke County that is inspected, I bet if people did some digging about the other rescues they'd be surprised at what they found out!
I've adopted several dog from there and once you've picked out a dog fill out the adoption forms they will set up appt with the Vet to have it spay or neuter you'll have to wait a few days b4 picking your dog up then once you bring your dog home just be careful for several more day till he/she heals. When I got my dashound turn around time about a week..:)

Call them and they will let you know if they have space. If they are full ask to be put on a waiting list. Last Thursday I called them and they said to bring my rescue kitten the next day!
