We played the Little League state tournament here, and it's a nice complex with clean bathrooms and a concessions stand. However, there were a couple issues with the fields that made for a difficult experience. Most importantly, there are numerous holes and bumps in the infield and outfield grass, and even the infield dirt, that truly puts the kids' health and safety at risk. High level games where the boys are really hitting the ball hard shouldn't be played here...it's just too dangerous. Secondly, only one field had functional lights. Apparently the lights on two fields were under repair, but that's not acceptable. It forced games to be played late into the night (well past 10pm) due to rain delays. All in all, it's a decent baseball facility but it's best suited for lower level games.

Terrible field conditions. Hosted Little League State 10u at this complex and they couldn’t cut the grass prior to the tournament, grass infield is in terrible shape, bases sticking up and completely unsafe for play, base paths are literally 18 inches wide with weeds the whole way to the base, most uneven outfield with dangerous holes everywhere, scoreboards that weren’t operating and lack of PA system for pre game player announcements or a national anthem. Lights on field did not work so all “night” games had to be moved to the heat of the day due to these insufficiencies. Terrible disservice to the kids who had to play on these fields as they competed for a SC Little League championship.

This used to be a great place for your kids to play baseball. It's become very expensive, and the leadership decisions are dominated by agendas and politics and have lost complete sight of the core values of little league and teaching our youth. I hope they can find their way back. Many families have left in search of other opportunities where the kids and baseball are the priority.
