Jeff was awesome in helping us adopt our new pup!

Surges is great! They are a no kill shelter!!! They are also non prophet and rely heavily on donations. Either monetarily or food or even "clean" beds for the animals to sleep on. I had a hard time getting my dogs to eat just the right dry food for the last 4 years. Always top quality human grade food, and I can't tell you how much money I've spent only to donate good food to Sarges. The nice lady who helped me said, we couldn't stay open if it wasn't for people like you. But she meant all those who have helped!!! Please don't stop, it's so rewarding to go on their website and see how many dogs and cats have been adopted!!! And by the way, I finally found a dry kibble that both of my multi-poo's love, Nitro Ultra! A great human grade food. You just have to keep looking. And at night they each get one container of Natures Recipe, Chicken Recipe only! I'll still find things to donate to Sarges though!

I got my beautiful best friend from Sarge's 7 years ago. They are the best for they are good to the animals and care about them. My baby passed in August of last year and I'm definitely going back to Sarge's to find another!

Contact Haywood County animal services, they will conduct a welfare check. They have to have access to food, shelter, and water by law.
Yes it is a NO KILL SHELTER. They are great people there. We have 3 rescue dogs from there
Probably, but you should call the office to confirm that. They can give you all the information you need
Please contact our staff directly at 828.246.9050 - There are questions they'll need to ask to best assist in this situation.
We sometimes have Pomeranians, but we rarely know when we'll get them in. We take in all breeds. Please visit: https://sarges.org/adopt-a-pet/sarges-adoptable-dogs/ to see our available animals.
None
It is a small facility. They rescue, And adopt out.
No, but try Edith Allen Wildlife Rescue in Canton.
I'm pretty sure she was adopted last week
There are several options available at area clinics that do dentals. If you are a regular client they may do a payment plan if you have a good history. Also there is carecredit.com and scratchpay.com which both offer credit based payment plans that pay the clinic directly and then you pay them back in monthly installments. There is also icare financial which is done directly through the clinic as long as you are able to put 30% down and pay an application fee. All three of those options are available at Junaluska Animal Hospital.
You will need to fill out an app online or in person to get in line for the Golden.
Sounds like it can vary depending on specific animal circumstances. In our case, our adoption was $125 for a 7 month old medium size dog. This included all needed vaccinations to that point, micro-chipped and neutered. The experience is really great at Sarges. You can see that the pets are treated well and the staff cares.
Go on Sarges Animal Rescue site, click on adoptions. Cats and dogs are listed alphabetically by name. Also check Haywood County Animal Shelter. Go online and look for FUR, or the Facebook page. That breed had a name i forget right now. Because of the nose shape, that breed can have nasal or sinus issues
No. They carry fees until adoption. There are other resources in Haywood county. You can also get Care Credit for pets.
Yes the county call them at the animal shelter in Waynesville NC
