I checked in at 4:31 and left at 5:57! I went in to have my 16 month old daughter checked for an ear infection. There’s no urgency in this “urgent care”. The PA that seen us was very nice, but you could tell she was in a hurry. Which surprises me as we were the only ones in the waiting room and the parking lot didn’t seem full at all. Hopefully they do not see everyone that quickly, I could see major errors that could come from that. Also, I’m unsure who the interior decorator is for the hospital, but I think it’s in poor taste to have a photo of tombstones in the exam room.

I thought the purpose of urgent care is to have a place to go outside of reg business hours to help those in need without having to go to the hospital...to save me thousands of dollars I had to suffer in pain all night to wait for you to open....

I have been to this urgent care a few times and never have had this bad of a experience. First when I arrive around 11am today there was one other person in waiting room it took an hour for my sick 1 year old to be taken back. After taken to the room and checked in we sat and waited for a doctor for another hour! I would understand if there was a waiting room full of people but that was not the case at all. Finally get seen that's all fine. They say he needs antibiotics. Confirm my pharmacy multiple times and have had all previous prescriptions sent to this pharmacy. Go to walgreens around 3pm wait in line for 30 minute to be told there's no prescription. Leave there call doctor office they say it was an error we will send it back over now confirm walgreens again. Wait 30 min get back in line which takes another 30-40 minutes to be told there's still no prescription. At this point im livid I have a screaming 1 year old who doesn't feel good and has now been stuck in the car for 2 hours. I call back again pretty aggravated not gonna lie say the whole situation then the receptionist tells me she can't help me if I'm yelling in her ear. In no way was I yelling I was mad yes but didn't cuss didn't yell told her I needed to figure out a solution bc my child is sick. She never apologized said basically they sent it to Walmart she did call walgreens finally and put prescription in and that it wasnt her fault she doesnt know. I just think it's so sad how Healthcare is now especially when it comes to a sick baby no empathy or care in the world. Maybe try the elkin location not sure if they are any better.

Yes a sports physical is one of the many services they offer however it is a service that is not billed to insurance & must be paid out of pocket. You can call for pricing to verify but I believe it is $35.
