A wide variety of dishes, seafood, pasta, and a small set of desert options. Good selection of wines. Staff and ambiance is relaxed and welcoming. A small jewel in El Segundo

They have a large and varied menu. Whether it include Cioppino may depend on the time if year. It's not on the online menu found here: https://www.chefhannesrestaurant.com/menu . I suggest calling before your intended visit.

Does Hannes still own this restaurant? I haven't been for a few years, but it appears the atmosphere and menu have SIGNIFIGALLY changed! I was hoping to take a friend there for a birthday dinner, but not too impressed with the menu.

He is still there and food is as good as it used to be. One advantage is that you can ask him to prepare something special and he will do it because he himself is the chef over there so you don't have to stick only to the menu.
