If your are moving from another state to Georgia and have nowhere to stay in Georgia i would advise you to try and find a place to stay before moving don’t move and go to this shelter the staff there do not care about the kids there they more faster to kick them out than helping them and I’m talking about they will kick you out for anything and anytime night time they will put you out on the street so if anyone else trying to move to Georgia for a better life work on finding a place of your own before moving it’s a lot of heartless people in Georgia especially this covenant house shelter too 💯
Latavia’s Channel
These staff don’t care about u they don’t help either they only help who they want/ the kids they like I been in here for months waiting to get some help with the housing cause I move from another state didn’t have no home no money nothing and they kick me out and I’ve been calling them like hell asking when would the housing be ready for me and it’s been months since I left there and I still haven’t got a call back from them or anything 💯💯

What a f___ ing scam!! Blame the current administration for the crisis America is facing
Mr. Sance
This place can be VERY beneficial if you're willing to invest in your future and be dedicated! They have a myriad of programs from helping you get back into school, to training to become a licensed security guard and rapid rehousing... The shelter life however can become like high school because some of the male residents are in gangs and I did feel lonely at times... Some of the staff can have nasty attitudes, but some of the other staff do seem to really want to help At-Risk youth... They feed you three times a day and require you to do chores to teach you responsibility! They have a eighteen month program called ROP which stands for Right Of Passage I believe which gives you semi-permanent housing and makes you pay rent and pay for your food to teach you how to be a self- sustaining adult... This shelter does have it's cons, but if you're determined, focused, and disciplined then you may have a found a place to change your future!!!

The staff will help u literally EVERY step of the way to get to where u wanna go
Covenant House serves youth 18-24.
They do they have several soon to be college students
It’s cold my daughter got mad at me for telling her to clean up and she up and left everything new iPhone 10 clothes coats, new shoes, bed and everything. She is mentally unstable due to her threats she has made to herself. This was the last number she called in the call logs. I would be glad for her to get help if she wasn’t lying to get services. I ask if they could just let me know if she was dead or alive and they can’t tell me anything or any family like she is going to get killed by us. She is a child of a 100 disabled veteran so she has a want for nothing ever. She has disappeared and the way Atlanta is set up with sex trafficking my fear is on high right now! I was in shelters with her as a minor with a baby and she knows the help is avaible with a sob story! She should not do her mom like that and someone should have told her! She has been homeschooled because of behavioral issues stemming back from 2nd grade and the audacity of the society we live in.
How old are you
Are you between the age of 18 through 21 if so then yes if not there's a few other places I can recommend
Yes
Yes they are. That was why I was there.
You found the right place
I was living in covenant house. The program is 90 days. Curfew is 8 on weekdays 10 on weekends, they have job fairs here and there. Thet help u reach your goal and build u up into getting housing
I believe you might be a little too old the Covenant House is a teenage homeless shelter only for teenage children but they have a lot of other options for you if you need help give me a call and we'll figure it out
They don't. They have open gym and activity like groups during the day time that u do need to participate in. Depending on ur work schedule they may let u sleep in. Wake up time is 6:30 monday-friday and 7:30 Saturday-sunday. And everyone has to get up and be ready to transition to the gym by 8am. No u do not have to pay rent but they want u to save ur money cause after all u are homeless. And they do give Marta cards for work school and other Business. Please come. They will help u get yourself together
No. You do not have to have ID to gain entrance into Covenant House. They will however assist you in obtaining whatever you need.
I have a job already. Im about to buy a vehicle. Im currently in a program but they dont have what i need to transition. Are we allowed to have phones? And leave campus on weekends? Thanks!
They do not.
Yes this shelter allows phones.
As long as they haven't added you to a list of people they don't wish to speak to (Say, an abusive parent/significant other) then you can call the number listed on the site and ask to speak to them.
18 -24 and they really do kick ppl out for any little thing they are stricked curfew on the weekdays are 8 and 10 on the weekends ( Fri-sat) no outside food, being searched with metal detectors, and they physically search you and your belongings every single time you leave and come back shoes come off bags are being dumped there is no if it's not a cigarette you can't have it no black and Miles no anything no vape , if anything happens on campus where there is threatening there's threats they have the right to search any and everything including phones, you can't even use a pair of scissors without being monitored, if a if you get into a fight they don't care if you're the aggressor or you're the victim you both get kicked out and have to panel they go through all your stuff and they will throw away anything that violates their quote on quote rules they are very rude and disrespectful and they have no remorse for anyone so go at your own risk
Very low

Call the Covenant House and they will assist you. Be willing to accept their advise and go forward. May the God of heaven protect you going forward.
Call the Covenant House and they will be able to give you directions.
They do accept females and it's a very safe environment. Males and females are separated but you have a curfew and come in before that time
Give them a call.
This shelter is for youth ages 18-24. You might look at Atlanta Mission or Salvation Army.
You have to call them Monday through Friday. The office is closed on weekends. They have accepted clothing donations in the past.
The only motive is to help those young people that are troubled or challenged with difficult circumstances.
Yes
All ladies shelter is City of Refuge off of Joseph E Boone blvd
You can go to Covenant house ga 1559 Johnson road NW, Alt
Sounds real sexual of them
No, Covenant House is for youth 18-21. You can dial 211 though to ask about other resources that may be available.
You are too old to live there, but they do offer medical referrals, showers, meals, clothing assistance and more to young people aged 18 to 26. I do not live there but through their referrals, I was able to get birth control, interview clothes, toiletries and recommendations to trade programs (one of which I now attend)
What do you mean how does it work??
Only for children. Try Union Mission
As long as you under 22. And I don't know about babies
You are too old
Hi Jaylee, I'm certain we can assist you. Please give us a call so we can find out more information about your particular situation. If you are in immediate danger, please dial 911 or contact an officer of the law. We are located at 1559 Johnson Rd. NW Atlanta Ga. We look forward to assisting you if possible. James " Mr. JT" Thornton
I think 21 is the max age.
If you are between 18-21 and homeless, please feel free to come to Covenant. If you are between 16-24, you may access services in the drop in center on campus.
Are you looking for housing
I am not sure what there process is for taking in young adults in difficult circumstances. Call them.
So rilly jgssfgsd is wrong about the Covenant House -- very nice and accepting people there. You cannot live there, unfortunately, as you havs to be 18 to 21, BUT, they offer assistance to people up to 26. Doctor referrals, resources, a place to shower and wash your clothes once a day, food, clothes, free bus cards, etc. I just turned 21 today and used to live at one in Texas a few years ago, but have been getting assistance since a year+ ago. EXTREMELY helpful people.
Call 211 or Atlanta Mission
No..just youths from 16 to 24
What number are you dialing?
