U don't need a appointment at the one up town just got to get there early about 6:30 or 7:00 but they don't start up til 8:00 if u don't get there early the line will be long and they slow (it's at the train station)

You have to take pass the the exam to get a permit and take driving lessons to to get a license.

Road tests are still suspended at this time but they are issuing limited license. You will come back in 6 months for a road test. Appointments strongly suggested.

I know it's a pain, but might just go over there at the time you think you have an appointment and explain the situation to them in person. After I figured out how to tell on the website How to tell if there were no appointments available on a particular day, I got several confirming texts leading up to the day and time of the appointment.

You will be better off making an appointment to guarantee a spot easily.With an appointment, you don't have to wait outside in the hot and humid heat. You go in, get it done, and off you go. But, make sure you have all the necessary documents with you.
