UPDATE (since 3 weeks ago): Since posting concerns about the parking, Elite has reached out to me to hear my concerns. They are working with Raleigh and the towing company to better manage the illegally parked cars (they are still there, but at least there is effort being made). They are also working with Yardnique to address specific concerns -- and have requested more appropriate equipment. The last time Yardnique mowed, they used smaller mowers to better fit the space. Bad reviews shouldn't need to be the impetus for action, but at least issues are being addressed now. The new on-site property manager does seem to care what happens in our neighborhood. UPDATE: (see photo). Elite still manages our subdivision. Cars and trucks regularly park illegally blocking driveways and creating a danger (city code specifically says you cannot park to block a driveway and you cannot park within 25 feet of an intersection). Homeowners are powerless because the towing company will only take calls from Elite, not homeowners, because Elite runs the HOA. And now, trucks with trailers are parking to block driveways, sidewalks and intersections. Elite is aware. Elite said they would look into a solution. Elite said there are no parking signs on order months ago. Nothing changes. Despite numerous complaints from me and others in our community about the poor lawn care from Yardnique, Elite continues to use this company. They do not hold the contracted lawn care service to providing a professional quality service. Our developer picked Elite and still manages decisions, but they’re a horrible management company. Photos are of my “lawn” over the course of the summer. Zero mowing improvement. We can’t fire Yardnique or Elite at this point, but neither one is doing their job.

I'm giving this review 2 stars, not because it is deserved but because Bruce (the owner) will think a 1 star is a defamation of character even though there are 100+ reviews asking, where is the elite in Elite Management? We take pride in our home, interior and exterior but Elite Management fails to recognize it. The community has awful grass, the street pavements are uneven and rundown, and when there is maintenance to be completed in the community, Elite Management sends out communication emails the day of (dog park is closed, paving the street). 2.1 stars over 100+ reviews explains everything. Please do not email me to remove my review like you advised my husband to. Update 5/2022: nothing has improved, "Elite" is still worse than ever and they bring down the morale of the communities they "manage." Response to Bruce: I am speaking the truth from my experience with "Elite" Management and so are others. Your company's 2.1 rating and 175 reviews shows how professional "Elite" is. This is not including all the facebook posts and countless calls and emails your company must get for minor, fixable issues. You can't threaten people who have experienced piss poor service from your company. Instead of being defensive and threatening people with legal action, fix the problem Bruce. Reading the former board members and employee reviews further solidifies that "Elite" Management isn't elite.

Without new construction in national builders propping up this third rate HOA company, they would probably be out of business. Not only do they not communicate with their members, they don't list any meeting minutes. They don't hold meetings regularly and they don't invite community members to those meetings. They will routinely change the rules and not keep anyone informed to the tune of doubling rates or locking you out of amenity centers at their leisure. If your community is done, change as quickly as possible. If your community is considering them to take over for an existing HOA management, confirm keep looking for another one.
