They need adequate help for answering the phone! I called Sunday and now on Monday with no one answering my call. It makes you wonder if they are busy helping families or not!

Total neglect of Assisted living resident. Assisted means they need assistance. Two of the residents have been without heat for two day. Did no answer the alert button or the pull alert in the bathroom. DO NOT place your loved one/sin that facility.

They never answer or return phone calls or messages. Several previous residents stated that they were under investigation by DHEC and are out of numerous DHEC code violations. Their food is not rat d terrible by many current and former residents. Their heat and AC is in really bad condition. In Fact Residents went days with out heat or AC during several times in 2021. There is High staff turnover and they are usually Understaffed and IMO very untrustworthy! I would have given them 0 stars if given the option.

The reply below from the owner was added on September 11, 2022. Needless to say no one from Pacifica has contacted me to rectify the situation. My original review was posted on 9/8. This place is horrible. My uncle was sent there for rehab after a fall. He passed away on 5/18. I have been trying to get a corrected invoice from them since then. Deb in billing won’t answer calls. Her voicemail is always full and she won’t reply to emails. The first statement I received from them had a balance forward with no explanation. I have tried on numerous occasions to get an actual invoice so that his long term healthcare would pay. Deb refuses to do this. The insurance company has also requested information from them with no reply. I have called the Executive Director twice asking for his assistance . He assured me that he would get the matter straightened out but nothing is done. The last call I made was yesterday to the EXecutive Director. He told me he would handle the issue and someone would call me back by the end of the day. I have not heard a word back. I explained that I wanted to take care of this bill but I needed the requested information in order to do so. After multiple emails and phone calls, I have no idea at this point what to do. I just want his bill corrected so I can pay it and be done with this place.

John, I've been looking into this for my Mom. A shared appartment in assisted living is $3495 with no level of care addition. Not sure about independent living or private assisted.
