My mother is in Assisted Living at Inverness, and although there has been a period of adjustment, it is clean and well maintained, there is a very good staff to patient ratio, medical services are provided, there is an monthly activity schedule, and the meals are nutritious and plentiful.

Yesterday's visit was a very enjoyable experience for us. Meeting the staff and taking the tour of the facility was amazing. Mr.Sander was especially kind and extremely knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and gave me Information to help in the decision making process. Thank you all so much!

The CNA's at this place are very nice and do help. Our main issue - my mother- in- law was admitted to the hospital - after her stay - we called Inverness to let them know she was ready to come back but needed assistance to walk & would require hospice care - they also had access to her records - she was brought back & after 2 days - the office management called my husband on a Monday @ 2:30 pm to tell him they could not give her the care she needed & we needed to find another place for her FAST basically - which by law they have to give us 30 days. We were able to locate a new facility for her. The previous management was replaced by new management WHO were the ones that made our lives a complete disaster due to the time they gave us the news, the way the information was handled & the stress of all it ALL. When the previous management was dismissed - they also did not contact us w/ a new manager name & phone number. We had continued to use the old email contact w/ no answer - when I asked about this - Cassandra (part of new management) stated that they did not have to let anyone know, which is very unprofessional in my opinion. So if you do decide to put a family member here - make sure you get all information in writing. Upon finding a new facility for my mother-in-law - they needed her paperwork - Cassandra stated she sent it via email fax - but it was never received - upon my own & at the request of new facility - had to get a copy from Cassandra to deliver to the new facility - upon arrival - she had not even copied the paperwork when given the specific time I would be in to pick it up. When the transport service arrived today to take my mother-in-law to the new facility- she was not prepared by staff - dressed, bathed or anything . The management was notified this past Thursday- just shows the lack of care these people provided. Upon loading the last of the furniture- I gave Cassandra the room key & stated what I thought of the new management & all she had to say is “okay”. Honestly- no apology or we’re sorry absolutely nothing. I do hope in the future they see this as a lesson learned - but that is highly doubtful- just interested in the money. This place is a joke to work for. Management is a joke. They have a Supervisor in charge that has a really bad Attitude that treats and talks to residents and staff any way she wants. I Brought to managements attention and nothing is done. There is a lot more issues but I’ll leave it at that for now. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY AND DONT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN HERE.
