The rest area has lots of parking spots and has relatively clean restrooms. There are big rig parking spots as well. Don't expect to see any water in the lake, the lake has dried out a while back.

Pet safe area friendly environment clean safe for kids to play outdoors away from traffic and accessibility for elder and vets whom have injuries and ptsd free scenic space to calm any soul.
