Such a bad experience my review will not even post! Figures their site is as horrible as their rental cars. If you value your life don’t call budget

Wish I could give negative stars. Arrived in NJ for my husband funeral. Picked up my rental they gave me the wrong car, before I left the person checking cars sent me back to get the right class car. We left and when we were on Rt. 611 in PA the car hydoplaned and we almost crashed. We realized the tires were so bald, the car was 1700 miles over due for service and the brakes were bad that when you hit them the steering wheel shook so bad. We had a very tight schedule and could not make the 2 hour trip back to exchange the vehicle. This was a horrible rental experience that cost we over $600 for 5 days in a death trap. I have pictures and video if you would like to see them..

If you are paying at the counter, make sure you understand the charges and DO NOT depend on the Agent. I declined all extra charges, but the Agent, Sharlene at Newark Liberty International Airport, charged me for insurance. I have learned that Agents get a commission for selling insurance. As a senior citizen, I believe Sharlene took advantage of me.

I will be filing a formal complaint! I am extremely disappointed as a fast break member and a loyal customer at the way things were handled by budget! I received this rental consistent with a Geoco insurance claim as an insurance replacement vehicle, I provided the claim number and the Geico insurance rental code at the time of pickup. Thereafter i received an email from loss prevention indicating that the car was due back on 9/27 suggesting that I have absconded with the vehicle and that they would be contacting the authorities. My car is still being repaired and I have provided all of the necessary documentation. Why would the first communication be from loss prevention and not from the branch just confirming I still have the vehicle. Incredibly disrespectful and disheartening. Furthermore i attempted to contact the branch directly but was only able to speak to someone off site with them not able to contact the branch either. Unprofessional!

Take AirTrain to P3
There is an air tran that drops you off. There is no cost for the air tran.
You can take the Air Train from rental car counter to all terminals
Yes there is customer parking and if you want long term parking i would recomend parking in the short term parking at the airport
we got an Infiniti QX60 from them VERY nice & seats 7 but may not hv much room for luggage.
FYI, You can rent a car with GPS in the US and to go to Canada without crazy fees you must rent the car in a state that borders Canada.
On line, on their website, become a member
💯
Don't rent from them. I rented a car for 8days. Took me 1 hr of driving I circles to found the return lot. Than after a week home, I received a email from them, accusing me of not returning the car. It went on for weeks. I suggested not renting at the airport. Good luck 👍
If you drop the keys off once they open they will scan the car and the system will send you an email. Once you get it, make sure the number is correct and otherwise you can call them.
Yes they have a drop box but remember, you are responsible for the car until they retrieve the key in thr morning.
Just have your passport just in case with your license. Always better to be prepared than sorry.
I did not see one when i was there. I dont think so.
First dropping of the luggage than bringing back the car, I would say no, because you can go buy bus or little train to the gate at the airport. Thank you for asking
Yes but they take $100 to $200 and hold it. Budget is only one does debit i think. They were really helpful at this lication.
Don't tell them it's a debit card.. just "yes" them with anything they say.... and give them whatever number you have.
You have to have a credit card and everything has to be in your name
Yes you can but there is an extra charge for doing that. Not sure of the amount.
No that's not it. I go through the prompts and iNstead of getting someone at the airport rental I get the reservations of Budget.
You drive with a airport train to the terminal . You drive 10 or 15 minutes
Mail it?
If you are asking about which car model, you are only guaranteed the type of car you reserved. Make sure you book online in advance. Insurance you should buy from the rental agency you should get unless your personal insurance or credit card has built in rental car insurance.
Call, for courtesy sake, to cancel the reservation. Even if you have given them your card details, they will not take your money if you do not take any vehicle.
I would recommend booking a full size sedan and not a medium sized sedan. Another good option would be a mid sized suv. Both will have enough space for your luggage, but suv will be the safest bet.
Yes you could drive across Canada I did myself before
It changes very frequently. Use budget.com to check availability and pricing!
You ask for the car seat when you arrive at the counter
You still go to the car rental... Drive in, as if you are returning a vehicle. It can be a bit daunting, as there are loads of cement bollards. If you make a mistake, just keep going round, it will bring you back.
I don't think so
Yes via airtrain
Yes, the airtrain will get you there.
Not sure, but might be an extra charge, depending on market, etc.
It can take as much as 30 minutes if you need to go to Terminal C.
The time is stated on your rental agreement although you can adjust a bit later (same day) or as much earlier as you want. You definitely want to be returning the car at least 2 hours before your flight time at Newark because of how slow the security lines are.
It varies. Look it up online sometimes you will find great deals. I did back in December.
