Well well well... after moving out almost OVER a year ago, Peppertree has charged me for 3 months for "living there". Not only have I provided proof that it was wrong, but C. YETTER refused to thoroughly read the emails while "assisting me". It is not my fault that prior* management did not keep proper records, yet I'm being held accountable for their mistakes. Interestingly enough, the office couldn't keep their files in order but in the shuffle of hoarding mail, it turns out I keep better records than the office. I want my name cleared from the property entirely. I will go as far as I need to to report the what has transpired. Someone needs to contact me immediately with favorable results.

The best thing about these apartments is the fact that they helped me move from VA to NC. LITERALLY saved me from being homeless. Honestly..the first few months were pure bliss. Friendly staff. No maintenance needs. Just living in my one bedroom apartment for cheaper than anywhere else. Slowly things just fell apart. I had noticed that the garbage disposal would stop working every couple of weeks. The water does not stay hot for more than like 15 minutes. The bath doesn’t hold water. It’s so hot upstairs that I had the AC going in the months of winter. That back fired on me though because then the HVAC froze over which caused a leak in my ceiling upstairs. The leak just kept going and now there’s this ugly stain on my ceiling along with fallen paint ..so that’s awesome. A lot of the holders (for towels and toilet paper) are not secured to the wall. There is a bug issue but can’t do anything about that because well…Covid? Idk. Um my filters have not been changed ONCE. And as we speak my hot water heater is leaking from my kitchen and flooding my floor. I guess this isn’t an emergency so we shall see just how damaged the floor gets when they decide to come fix it. Sometimes the little women at the office are pure…rude. Not a fan of that. The one thing they really can’t control is how the tenants leave trash outside the garbage. They at least make sure that’s cleaned up though so..star for that. I am grateful for a roof over my head but I’m paying for an apartment accumulates most of my check when really…the rent should be substantially lower. I had to renew because of everything I have going on BUT first opportunity..I just have to say goodbye to the Westdale family.

Keep track of all your communications. Be sure to be as specific as possible about your issues. If after a certain amount of time the issue isn't handled, contact the actual owners and bypass the property management team. Only as a last resort go this route, the owners will correct the problem, guaranteed 👍
