I love this library overall but I just had a really bad experience at checkout. Usually we do self checkout but I needed to place a hold on some books so I went to the desk, which I was already anxious about. The lady working it was clearly annoyed that I was even up there to begin with. Add in the fact that I asked her to please place a hold on some books for me and the fact that she didn't like I was using my husband's card (which I offered to use my own card if there was an issue and she just ignored me) and she was even grouchier. She told me one of the books I wanted was on the shelf and "didn't you look for it? " I said that they all said checked out but i checked the shelf anyway bc half the time they say checked out but they're on the shelf, and it wasn't there. I could tell she really didn't want to help me so I just said nevermind the hold and left. Why couldn't she just help me? I don't think I was asking too much, just for her to do her job for 2 minutes. Wrecked my afternoon. I don't really ever feel comfortable going back up there to checkout ever again.

I've usually opted to buy books, but whenever my brain wanted to go to a library, I would usually go to this one... if I could. I've only been here about 5 times, and enjoyed it every time! It has this relaxing feel to it, and it also has movies to rent, too! This is truly an amazing library!

Kristina, you can print without a card. Just go upstairs to the computer area, ask for a guest pass from the librarian, they'll help you put money on your "card" to print, and explain how to login to the computers. But, go ahead and get a library card anyway - they're the best! All you need to get one is your ID and a peice of mail (preferably a utility bill or bank statement) with your address on it.
Hmm, I wouldnt think so. They take your picture and ask for different documents. You could call and ask to make sure.
