In a time when many people have no health insurance our family member was not turned away. I have read many reviews and understand that perceptions vary greatly. But when a person is having such severe mental health concerns that they are admitted for care ... they sometimes can't understand, accept or agree with decisions that legally have to be made for them. Mental health is complicated and I believe that the staff there have been very open to all communication and concerns within our family. They are all human beings and are not perfect. They care, they call and they understand being on the other side. I appreciate the services they have provided to our family member deeply!!! I would rather my family member be there than in a graveyard.... I wish that everyone who has mental illness themselves or within their family seek help. Sometimes our ways don't work and we have to take that first step out of our comfort zone to be receptive to help. Thank you to all of the staff!!!

This place is a joke. It's filthy, the floors are always sticky and there are bugs crawling around everywhere. The nurses are indifferent and will actively ignore you. The doctor I had was only there 1 day my entire stay. I told him I didn't want to be medicated due to strong personal beliefs and he prescribed me something anyway, and when I refused to take it they told me they'd keep me there longer if I didn't cooperate. they didn't offer any kind of therapy or counseling, and gave nothing to do. My entire time there was spent watching TV. I feel sorry for anyone who gets sent here.

IF I COULD GIVE 0, I WOULD!! Nurses are absolutely RUDE & apparently thieves!! Please don’t send your loved ones here ESPECIALLY if they have anything of value on them!!
