Blowing Rock Equestrian

We love all the great things that our visitors have to say about our facility but I wanted to take the time to give kudos to our campers and carriage groups that make the trip to stay with us! You are the best!!! We especially appreciate the attendees of our 3 annual horse shows as well as the folks who come for our Fjord Fun Fest and the Robbie Potter Clinics. We have attracted the attention of various carriage groups and saddle clubs who visit us during our season. We are located at one of the trail heads of Moses Cone Park which features 27 miles of carriage roads, that are meticulously maintained just the way Mrs. Bertha Cone would have liked! Stop by and see us! Mardi

Best route for horse trailer from Johnson city ???

A Google User | Oct 7, 2020

It's an additional hours drive, but if I were pulling a horse trailer, I would take I-26 out of Johnson City, down to I-40 in Asheville. Then I-40 across to Morganton then pick up 64 to Lenoir and 321 up to Blowing Rock. Much fewer tight turns, which would seem to me to be better than the shortest route, but much more driving. Depends on how good your horses ride I suppose. M
