This was the 2nd year attending American Babylon festival at Panther Lake. I love the place, so beautiful and tons to do recreationally if you're into fishing, kayaking, paddleboating etc. Also some fun little hikes in the area. Great place to spend a weekend.

Beautiful location slightly south of Raleigh. Big lake, lots of areas to fish, boat, and camp. Incredibly kind and helpful staff. Great environment to book out door events or just hang out with friends for a few days. I couldn't recommend this location more highly for fans of the out doors.

Held my 15 year olds party here. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Water equipment available for an additional fee. Scenic spot for photos & relaxation. A great time was had by all!

Bank fishing is good, most people fish off the dam. They do rent paddle boats & they have a drop box to put the money. Sorry, I don't know the cost but I'm sure it's reasonable.
Yes it is! You can reach samuel Stephenson (samme/Sam) at 919-417-2249. Fishing and boating are available for a small fee and the hours are open 24/7. A small stage was built about a year ago but before that he was hosting bands to play on his patio. Some bands are playing there tonight as a matter of fact! The view is beautiful once you actually pull into the driveway lol!
It is safe for both. However you will have to get permission from the owner 1st, Sammy, he lives at the house. There are times when there are a lot of boats & skiiers.
