My wife had scheduled a room measurement to be done on a couple of rooms on Thursday at 4p.m., at 3:50 they called and said they were double booked could we do it on Friday at 4p.m, of course we agreed. At 5 on Friday they had not arrived so she called the store and was told that they had forgotten about us and could they come after the store closed at 6. Again we were agreeable and again they did not show up or even call to cancel. My wife had already been to the store and picked out the carpeting and gotten a rough estimate based on her measurement, so this would have been guaranteed transaction. Very poor customer service.

This is an honest review. BEWARE. The second job was professionally done. 2 rooms were carpeted. The first job, we hired this company to put flooring down in our kitchen. They moved our dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, and our two refrigerators. The crew damaged one of the hose plugins on our washing machine, but fortunately we just recently replaced it so that company repaired that issue. But our dishwasher doesn't work. The manager responded to this post on 5/26 and has done nothing to look at work his crew did to our floor or fixed our dishwasher. Take a look at our floor folks. Read about their service. Artless McNeil did talk with your you said 2weeks. We're now in July

Have been dealing with an issue for almost 4.5 months now. We have transitions strips coming apart and cracking, parts of the floor is starting to pop up, which made my two year old daughter trip and cry multiple times, and the molding around the floor is constantly coming off. Not including we have pen marks in multiple places around the floored areas where they did the work. We first went to then the first week in January to raise the concerns. They sent someone out within two weeks to scope out the areas that need to be fixed. Original Contractor left and we heard nothing for over a month. Contacted Chris, horrible salesperson and horrible at communication and strongly recommend staying far away, and he said that he thought the work was done. They sent out a second contractor to inspect the work and nothing was done from it. Few more weeks went by and a third contractor came out because Florence Carpet and Tile expressed to us that they were not happy with the original contractors and the second contractors workmanship and talked badly about them over the phone to both my wife and I. Third contractor came out and saw what needed to be done. But this third contractor apparently explained to my wife and Chris that we need hardwood transition strips instead of the plastic because the plastic will simply just break again and we will be starting this process all over again. My wife agreed with the wooden transition strips. A few more weeks went by and apparently the third contractor went ghost. After many phone calls to Chris, who obviously was dodging the issue at hand, we actually heard back from someone else at the store. That person sent out a fourth contractor, very nice man, to scope out the work and he told me he would be back with the right transition strips. Chris called me and told me that he has placed expedited shipping for the hardwood transition strips and they would be here within two days. The fourth contracted brought back plastic transition strips that Chris was NOT suppose to order because the third contractor told him to order hardwood. The fourth contractor said that they would fix all the transition strips, fix the popped areas on the floor where it made my two year old trip and cry and fix the moldings all around the floors where the original contractor screwed them up, I guess the pen markings are not worth fixing. Was told that they would be back this past Friday to fix the issues. Received a phone call from a nice lady that Friday. She said Chris asked her to call me on his behalf, again Chris is dodging, and she said that the fourth contractor will be onsite on Monday to fix the issue. Actually received a phone call from Chris that the contractor was having truck issues and that they would be at my place on Wednesday to fix everything. Today is that Wednesday and nothing was done, not a phone call, a visit or any form of communication from anyone at Florence Carpet and Tile. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company like the plague. They appear to take your money and run. All of this work was originally done August/September of 2020 so it’s not like the material has aged, still pretty darn new. I have submitted a request to the BBB and will hear back within the next 3-5 business days on what they can do because apparently the everyday customer to Florence Carpet and Tile does not matter. I have never left a review like this in my life, especially not for a small business, but Florence Carpet and Tile really needs to think about who they hire as their sales people as well as who they hire for their contracting work.

I bought 20 by 20 inch tiles from your store about 15 years ago on clearance. I still have the information from the box. How can I find the same tile? Any suggestions? Is there any way that you could help me?

While it may be difficult to find the same tile, depending on the manufacturer, we might be able to locate it. Please bring the box by, or at least the information off of it, and we will see what we can do.
