Beautiful park with stunning views of the Hudson River and new jersey. One of the most elevated places in New York City. Plus you could walk right across the bridge to the Bronx only a few minutes down the road.

Wonderful but it can be sketchy at night you never know with NYC I seen a few dudes who would stare at you who knows what would happen if i wasn't with my over protective dog

Just remember that there are eight miles of walking paths and a large dog run. But there's only one path open to cyclists, yet many dog walkers ignore this need.
Also there are 2 A train subway stations on both sides of the park
It should still be happening no information on parks website that event has been cancelled
Park is free and there is a suggested donation for the Cloisters. Must visit now that it's Spring and the flowers in the garden are in bloom. Enjoy!
