Lovely park, very kid friendly with a nice track to get some steps in. Seems very safe. There was a woman selling Ices, kids playing sports and some guys playing some nice Spanish music. They are also plenty of available benches and a very inviting public Pool next to this park.

I ave not used the pool in 3 summers due to pandemic. But in the past, my pool experience was pleasant. I visited the park portion for the first time They have fake grass in the main area. A rubber coating covers the track area that runs around the main / football field. Both are nice. There is a very nice setup for people who want to work out with gym equipment. However, my main purpose was as an alternative to my local park to walk my dog. There is little to no space for a dog to do their business. Difficult for them to play on the field as people are using it. It has a small basketball and handball court. Of course there is a public bathroom brick house (I didn't look inside). Overall, this park is not for me and my needs. I prefer my local park which is much larger and much more dog friendly.

Yes there is. Infact there are 4 different drinking fountains throughout each corner of the park.

Walk east as if you are going towards Queens its on Thomas Boyland between Blake and Dumont
Park bathrooms close at 6 but the workers leave early (without permission)and they must Lock bathrooms
