Hidden Gem in the middle of Manhattan's south. Small but fine highlight. Definitely worth a (photo) stop!

This was the South Street Seaport in New York I stayed at the Hampton Inn and I have no complaints

Fantastic historical marker that for Titanic aficionados is a place of high interest. As noted on the plaque, this lighthouse has been moved from its original location. A visitor to New York will also find the pier 54 very interesting as this is where Titanics survivors were set ashore.

I live near here and I actually hate going. I only patronize this tourist spot because they have a Scotch & Soda boutique (Clothing brand)

No, the Titanic wasn't going to dock at the South Street Seaport. It would have docked at Pier 59 (around 18th St. in Chelsea) where the White Star line had its piers. The memorial was somewhere else (not at Pier 59) before it moved to the Seaport.
Yes, it is a park with a memorial / monument in it.
