I am an elite IHG member and always have great stays in Holiday Inn Express...this however wasn't the best. We chose to stay here because of the restaurant and bar which was not open either night. The shower door was broke and falling off ...and the last night we were there they gave someone else our room and they walked in while we were in there. The staff was very nice but definitely outdated and lots needs fixed.

When I arrived I was given a room quickly and efficiently. Thats about it. The front hallways are not mopped and there are fingerprints on the windows. The room smelled like sewage along with the hallways. The TV, mirrors, etc. had been wiped down with wet rags so you could see a filmy residue. I requested a different room and it smelled like rotten eggs and urine by the end table next to the bed. The phone looked burned, end tables dirty and tub had mold. (Pics provided.) The hotel advertises that it has a restaurant but it was closed down. I was moved to a third room and everything seemed fine until I opened the closet. There were dirty, wet towels hanging that were left by the previous guest. (Pic provided.) I called the front desk and asked if the staff here were on Crack? He said no, of course....π€₯ It was late so I decided to stay and also there were no other hotels in the area that were any nicer. I'm glad my company paid for this.

If I could give zero stars I would. We stayed overnight prior to our early morning flight because they βofferβ an airport shuttle service. They rang our hotel room phone 20 minutes before we needed to leave to inform us they donβt have a bus driver, but to send our Uber ride info to the front office manager and they will be happy to reimburse us. When I say both my husband and I have spent way too much time trying to get into contact with Kristen Thurman, the front office manager, I mean multiple emails, voicemails, and too many phone calls to count. When we call we are usually put on hold then sent to a voicemail. Today, the girl who answered stated she was actually in and available and would put me on a brief hold. Again sent to voicemail! And immediate follow up call and a different front desk worker answered, stating she actually is not in fact there. Needless to say, donβt expect reliability, professionalism, honesty, or communication. My family has stayed in holiday inns many times during travels. Never again.

One of the heaters in our room was not working. The mattress on the pull out couch was very warn and old. I was told they were out of coffee for the rooms but could get some in the lobby in the a.m. The rooms were clean and the staff was helpful. We were lucky to have a room with a small dinette.
