Horrible place. My. Mothers pain meds were an hour late regularly and later at times. The nurses were late and at one point we were told they didn't know if the night nurse had quit "again" or was just 2 hours late. Place Stunk terribly and we would hear patients calling for help for very long periods of time. My mother never got what she ordered to eat. Everything was slopped on a plate like they were feeding an animal.They let her fall and lay there calling for help for a long time then put her in the bed, not able to move and didnt call an ambulance or family for over an hour later. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Disgusting , filthy, and uncaring .

Care has deteriorated big time. They used to have phenomenal care. They had moved the patient months ago and whoever moved him just through everything in the room in piles and bags. Nothing was organized. He has been without his glasses for who knows how long. He said they had been lost. We found them buried deep under his underwear pile. He needs to be shaved. Supposed to be on a schedule for that.

Care here is terrible! Would not recommend for anyone looking to place a loved one somewhere long term. They don’t care about residents; wether it’s making them comfortable, changing schedules, feeding.. they don’t do it! Look elsewhere!

No one is alike. No one has the same needs. At Parkside they are beginning to understand that. But you still need to go visit every day to take care of your loved one and make sure they do too.
