Check the PA website for bridge closures and sign up for the text message alerts as they tell you when there are delays, traffic holds and bridge closures. The purpose of the closures are for construction. The bridge is not 100% completely rebuilt, and the need to move equipment across the bridge will determine the traffic holds or bridge closures. As of right now, the bridge has only been closed on the occasional Friday night into Saturday morning to allow for better traffic flow, but during weekdays around 9am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm there are traffic holds for 10-20 mins to transport construction equipment across since there is only 1 side of the bridge complete at this time. The bridge is expected to be 100% complete Spring 2019. However, the Northbound lane is open to both North and South bound traffic throughout the day, unless otherwise noted.

The bridge closes tonight on a 24th at 1159 p.m. and opens up on a 25th at 8 a.m. so it closes Friday night 11.59 p.m. and open Saturday morning at 8 a.m.
