Celebrating a perfect anniversary with my wife. Dinner at Tony's was excellent, service always the best. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Food is absolutely delicious, staff are simply awesome. Totally appreciate the way staff engages with everyone, makes you feel quite welcome and comfortable here. Definitely St. Louis best!

We went for dinner to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. We chose the Tasting Menu for two with the wine pairings. We made a reservation several weeks ago to be sure we had a good table. The table was fine. We received several " Happy Anniversary" greetings on the way in and at the table. The food, overall, was superior; excellent dishes and appropriate portions. The wines paired were very good. The service, however was not warm or welcoming. Plus, we had many different servers, so it was difficult to know who was really serving us. I chose to order a French 75 cocktail to finish my meal. That drink was terrible. I have enjoyed and made many, and that was not a French 75. Overall, a good evening but definitely some disappointments.

My husband and I, and two of our friends who are from Connecticut, were directed to this restaurant. It didn't disappoint! The menu is extremely diverse; the food and service rivals any restaurant on the East Coast. The ambiance is simply fantastic! I felt like I was in Manhattan. When I was younger, I thought Missouri was simply a cow town. I was wrong. My husband and I are world travelers and enjoyed this jewel as much as any restaurant we have ever experienced. Even the owner, I think his name was James (who looked like he was dressed from a Brioni catalog), came to our table several times, calling us by our last name even, was quiet and classy in the way he approached. Impressive and certainly left quite an impression on our entire party. What a gem for St. Louis! I only wish this establishment was in Manhattan.

C'mon. It's Tony's - one St. Louis' most iconic and exclusive restaurants. It would impossible for this place to be less than five stars - they strive for ten stars on an everyday basis. The service is impeccable. We had three people serving us, instantly appearing at our table just before we knew we needed them, for whatever our need could be. The food was tremendous - except my wife said she should have gotten the spinach salad instead of the house salad, because it looked just a little tastier. I thought it was pretty good, the spinach salad with Roquefort provided me with a burst of flavor in every bite. She got some beet conglomeration as an appetizer, I'm not a beet fan, but she said it was awesome. I had the scallops with truffle. Yes, quite tasty, but only two. I was to learn that was not a bad thing. For our entrees we both had Lobster Adenello. This plate was huge, my wife couldn't finish hers so it was up to me to make sure no bite of lobster was left behind. We were there for my wife's birthday, so of course there was a piece of birthday cake, two small cookies, a chocolate caramel tart with raspberry sauce, and creme brulee. Needless to say, we pretty much waddled out of there. Oh, forgot to say, they had Blanton's Bourbon so I got a couple pours of that, too. Overall, it was an experience in fine dining and well worth getting dressed up for. For the record, I wore a coat and tie, which I only rarely do for the most special occasions.

For my wife and I with appetizers salad meal and dessert it'll run about $75 each. If you had wine and drinks it goes up dramatically
A jacket is not required, but you may feel more comfortable wearing one as the atmosphere is formal. No tie is necessary.
We are not offering curbside at this time
I reccomend you go. Have the Albanello. You'll go back.
Great. I'll be there for the Astros series. Looking forward to it. Thanks.
Business casual is acceptable but if you wear a coat you would not be without company
Main dishes are between 40-70, as much as I remember. Wines are expensive, from 100+ to 2000-3000 (you can buy a class of wine instead).
No but recommended
