Pre-covid activities are slowly returning for the kids. There seem to be two to three activities per week for the little ones. We enjoyed playing with legos, meeting new friends, and reading some books in the children's section.

Yes, currently you need to have a card from one of the Westchester libraries to log on. We are not providing guest passes this time as computers are limited due to COVID-19 and social distancing. Sessions are for 90 minutes and you may print up to 20 pages per day for free.
It is open. Dead empty. Librarians were seriously bored. I did see one person use their laptop there. You'll have the place all to yourself 🙂
Hi Wil, Feeding Westchester has canceled their mobile pantry stop at the Library indefinitely. To find a full schedule of their mobile food pantries, you can visit their website here: https://feedingwestchester.org/find-help/mobile-food-pantry-schedule/ or call them at 914-923-1100.
Yes specific policy they accept a limited amount daily VHS is not so envogue nowadays and needs more space to be stored compared with DVDs.
No one dedicated to helping people, but the librarians have offered assistance before. If you need computers for research, something to write on, or to print a resume out, those are freely available, even without a library card -- though there is a cost for printing.
I called the libraries where they had them before, they said the aquarium does not honor them anymore!
During business hours, you can call (914) 422-1400 or (914) 422-1480.

Hi Richard, there are several options for renewing a book: you can sign in to your account online at https://whiteplainslibrary.org/t4fh with your library card and pin; you can use the automated phone system at (914) 674-4169; you can speak with a librarian at (914) 422-1480; you can text us by texting “WPPL” followed by your question to 66746; and you can of course come in and have us renew an item in person. Also, if your items were checked out at our Library, your items will be automatically renewed the first time they come due as long as there are no holds on the items.
Lots of desktop computers on high speed network
We do. All volunteers must attend an orientation session. The next one is Saturday, August 17, 2-2:30pm. Feel free to call me directly with specific questions. Kathy Degyansky Assistant Library Director 914-422-1488
