Positive: It was clean, room was cool, beds were comfortable. For weary travelers, who can ask for more? It¿s located in a quiet area and close to restaurants. Nice place to stay. Negative: Front desk staff was not very welcoming, but I guess since COVID hit that¿s about as good as it gets in most cases.

Arrived and went to the desk to check in only to discover that my reservation had been canceled for no apparent reason. Enter Courtney Fuller. Courtney was in charge of the front desk when I came in to check in and it did, indeed, look as if my reservation had been canceled. Looked like I was up the river without a paddle! And the hotel was sold out for the evening!! Then Courtney went to work! Utilizing her knowledge of the hotels scheduling system she searched me out and found that my reservation had been canceled but no reason why. She dug deeper and found the problem and instantly corrected it and I had a room again. Long story short. It is customer service like Courtney displayed that keeps us coming back to the Hattiesburg Best Western University Hotel each time we visit here. Easily the best place in Hattiesburg to stay by far! Thank you Courtney and Best Western!
